Toronto Calvalcade of Lights 2009
Toronto’s 43rd annual Cavalcade of Lights presented by Scotiabank returns to Nathan Phillips Square from November 28 – December 31, 2009.
The Calvalcade of Lights begin on Saturday, November 28 at 7 pm with the lighting of Toronto’s official Christmas tree. Expect fireworks, performances by musical artists such as Steven Page (formerly of Barenaked Ladies), Matt Dusk, Keshia Chante, and Fritz Helder & the Phantoms.
The fireworks, free concerts and skating parties continue Saturday nights in December from 7:00 p.m. featuring:
- Dec 5: Jully Black with a Soul/Funk skating party by DJ Jun
- Dec 12: State of Shock with a skating party by Promise DJs spinning the hottest dance music hits
- Dec 19: Faber Drive with an Alternative music skating party by DJ Misty Rock n’ Roll
