If you think you’ve tried pretty much anything and everything that’s to be experienced in Toronto, think again. Pottery classes is probably the last thing on people’s minds when they’re thinking of something fun and interesting to do.

Beyond The Pale, run by Helon Cloney, is located in the quaint neighbourhood of Leslieville. you’ll be able to use your imagination, express your creativity, in a friendly and creative environment – and it’s all hands on, so you can feel like a kid again :)

Here’s an excerpt from their flyer that I picked up while walking by their charming location:

Bring your imagination and a sense of humour to a frinedly and supportive enviornment.  Helen Cloney will teach you all sorts of creative handbuilding techniques, including pinch pots, coiling and slab construction.  You will also learn a variety of decarating and finishing techniques – all materials and firing included.

Classes are family friendly. They hold separate classes or parties and can be for both adults and children.

Classes are every Sunday 1-4 PM and cost $40 for a three-hour class.
